The Boro Children's Ministry: Birth - Grade 6

We regard ministry to children as an entrustment and partnership between the church and home. Parents are the primary influence in their children’s lives, and our Children’s Ministry exists to come alongside parents in their child’s spiritual growth. As kids grow, their understanding of foundational truths grows with them. We offer small groups based on age ranges that follow how God designed children to learn. Our aim is that every child will come to know God, trust Him and obey His commands.

General Information

There are two entrances for our children’s ministry:
  • enter the front entrance of the building and head to the back of the lobby where you’ll see “The Boro” written on the wall
  • enter the side entrance to the left of the building which leads directly into the children’s ministry check-in

Our greeters will be on hand to get you registered with our children’s check-in system.

When you and your family arrive, our “Boro” greeters will walk you through a simple check-in process where your children will receive a name tag, and families receive a corresponding numbered tag. Present this tag at check-out when picking up your child/children.

Yes! The Boro is a safe, loving environment. Each volunteer goes through a training process which includes a background check. We have Security volunteers stationed at our check-in, ensuring that only those with a parent security tag enter the Boro area.

You will be notified by your check-in security code projected along the base of the large screen located at the front of the auditorium.

All are welcome in the Boro! If your child has a special need, please contact one of our Children’s Ministry Coordinators who will work with you and your family to ensure your child or children have a positive experience.

What are our small groups like?

Sundays 9:00am & 11:00am - Our Nursery leaders sing songs with the babies about God and the Bible.

Sundays 9:00am & 11:00am - Our toddlers and preschoolers follow along as our leaders teach Bible stories and verses, worship, and prayer.

Sundays 9:00am & 11:00am - Our children are learning and practicing what it means to be a disciple who makes disciples through biblical teaching, Scripture memory, personal application, worship, and prayer. They spend time in small groups where they grow healthy, deeper relationships with both peers, and a trusted adult figure.

Sundays 9:00am & 11:00am - Our older children engage curriculum which challenges them to answer questions that help them discover and understand core truths about God, then apply it to their own lives by grace through faith in the context of community.

Sundays 11:00am only / September through May - The transition between children’s ministry and youth ministry can be challenging, but we are committed to keeping our preteens engaged during this significant season. Led by a mentor couple, this small group journeys through discussions about following Christ, bringing the gospel into every part of life, and navigating the struggles of being a teen.
