Outreach: Fellowship Unleashed

The final instructions Jesus gave His disciples clearly assumed that His Church would pursue ever-expanding influence:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19–20, ESV).

Elsewhere, Jesus described the expansion of the Church’s witness geographically beginning with Jerusalem (the point of origin), and reaching to “the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). So we anticipate that biblically aligned churches can’t help but devote themselves, among other things, to faithfully showing and telling the gospel across the street and around the world.

We refer to our outreach activity as Fellowship Unleashed. As the phrase suggests, reaching the world outside our church can be likened to unleashing a crowd of Christ’s ambassadors eager to deliver the message of reconciliation to a world full of people estranged from God (2 Corinthians 5:18-21).

It is our intention to maintain outreach activity locally, nationally, and internationally. Though the proportion will vary from one sphere to another, we regularly evaluate our activity so as to maintain a balanced emphasis on all three.

Local Ministry

It is a joy-filled desire for us to be a blessing in our own community. So we have made it a practice to either initiate or collaborate to engage the people of our city, regardless of their circumstances, with the words and works of the gospel. Use the selection box below to evaluate our opportunities.

National Ministry

On a national level, we are more limited in the degree to which we can be involved, but there are a few organizations that we enthusiastically support and with whom we collaborate when possible. Use the selection box below to evaluate our opportunities.

International Ministry

It is costly in every way to invest in ministry outside the United States, but the privilege of doing so is priceless! We’ve sent teams to several different continents and currently support missionaries in a few different international locations. Use the selection box below to evaluate our opportunities.

Our philosophy: We focus on a few select areas instead of investing limited resources in numerous parts of the world. Currently, we support missionaries in Singapore and Uganda.

Serve on a team: If you would like to learn more about potentially serving with a team during a short-term trip to any of those locations, please email Dawn Barrett ( ) for more information.
