Our Story

2000: After four years at Dallas Theological Seminary, Monty and Kimberly Waldron moved to Murfreesboro, sent by Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock, Arkansas to begin a new ministry.

2001: Gatherings were held to explore the vision for a Fellowship Bible Church in Rutherford County. A small group of people emerged who shared a desire to see that vision become a reality. By God’s grace, Fellowship Bible Church held its first public worship service in October 2001 at a local day care. One year later, God opened the door for us to begin meeting at Blackman Middle School. That was our home for the next 12 years.

2004: Jeff Patton, our co-teaching pastor, and his family moved to Murfreesboro. At that time, God began assembling our leadership team, most of whom are still serving our community of faith today. We’re a tight-knit team with a broad spectrum of gifts and experiences who truly believes together is better! Read about our staff and elders.

2011: It became obvious after a decade in a leased facility that we were ready to move to a facility of our own. Through a stunning collection of God’s provisions through His people, we were able to secure our current property and build the facility we inhabit today. We like to think of our campus as common ground for connected lives. Read more about the facility journey.

More to come on our story soon!

We believe the future of Fellowship is full of potential! As we take our next steps, we’re praying continuously that God would bring about ever-growing spiritual maturity in all of us while expanding our influence to every segment of our community and beyond.

Would you prayerfully consider connecting with us for the chapters of our story yet to be written?
