We exist to Cultivate Connected Followers of Christ! That’s our mission! It’s a summary of Jesus’ final words to His church in Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”

Pursuing His mission, in His strength, and for His glory is our driving ambition and joy.  We put flesh on this mission and describe this pursuit by using the...

Portrait of a Connected Life

If you think about it, the Christian life is a connected life. God’s plan throughout history has been about reconnecting what is separated and restoring what is broken. With that in mind, we cultivate five connections that seem biblically vital to all who follow Christ:

  • Upward with God
  • Backward with our Story
  • Withward with the Body
  • Inward with our Gifting
  • Outward with the Mission

Everything that we do as a community of faith is intended to cultivate those five connections. To learn more about each connection you can click here. You should also plan to attend our Foundations classes that are offered regularly on the fourth Sunday of the month after church.

Doctrine literally means “the teaching.” Doctrine is to a church what roots are to a tree. As roots secure and nourish a tree’s growth, so doctrine secures and nourishes our understanding of God and His ways. In other words, roots help us grow “to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:13).

Our doctrine did not originate with us but has been passed down to us from generations of faithful Christ followers throughout church history. It is not an exhaustive statement on all biblical matters, but it does reflect our foundational convictions on essential matters. You can find our doctrinal statement here.
