Men’s Fraternity: The Quest for Authentic Manhood- Two separate classes are being offered: Monday Nights 7:00-8:30pm & Friday Mornings 6:00-7:30am

A Biblical man. An Authentic man. A changed man. 

Men’s Frat is way more than a Bible Study. It provides men with an encouraging process that teaches them how to live authentic lives, as modeled by Jesus Christ and guided by the Word of God.  Our culture has told lies about what it means to be a man, and most men are exhausted from the constant pressure, loneliness, and feeling that we never measure up. EVERY MAN needs a clear and healthy vision for manhood and a community of men around him on his journey. 

We will cover topics like: The 4 faces of Manhood, Unpacking our stories, Growing out of Isolation, Making a healthy break with Mom, Healing the absent father wound, How the gospel heals our wounded hearts, The Biblical definition of manhood, A man and his wife, Fathers and children, and more. There are 14 sessions total- 7 this fall and 7 in the winter and spring. 

Each man will receive a notebook with notes and great resources. Each man will be placed in a group after the message to engage the topics taught live. The messages are about 45 minutes, and so are the small groups. Over the course of 14 weeks, you’ll get to meet and be real with other men who are just like you in both their desire and struggle to grow into a genuine man that God intended you to be. God will use this material to change you in ways you never dreamed, and he’ll use the other men to encourage your soul in the journey. 

In addition, plan now to invite other men from your friend group. Men’s Frat is for EVERY man 18 and above. Additionally, it is great material for non-Christians and will provide you with numerous opportunities to discuss Christ with them.

What crowns are discussed in the Bible? What crowns are available to believers? Why do believers receive crowns? What is the purpose of the crowns believers receive? As women... can we BE a crown? We will dive deep into these questions and find the treasures to the answers in our Fall Study, Crowned: Life | Righteousness | Eternity. Different seasons call for different ways to study the Word. We are providing two study options: 

• Companion (devotion style with scripture, questions, and summary; about 10 -15 minutes each day)
• Inductive (cross references, word studies, and creating space for Scripture to interpret Scripture—will take your personal study of the Bible to the next level; each day is 30-45 minutes)

We do not review our daily work, so regardless of study choice, you will be able to fully participate in the weekly gatherings. 

Childcare is available. 

Young adults (ages 18-28) are invited to connect with our new ministry group! We will meet weekly, 6:30-8:30pm on Tuesdays (beginning 10/14). There will be a mixture of Bible study, praise & worship, and just good ol' hangin out. Our heart is that this would be a life-changing place to connect with others in this season of life.

Wiggle Worship is a praise and worship time for toddlers and preschoolers and their grown-ups. This fun and casual opportunity to “make a joyful noise” is held on Wednesdays at 10:00 in room 209. After the worship time ends, parents are encouraged to head outside to the playground or go out to lunch to continue the fellowship time!

Children's choir meets on Sunday afternoons in the Refuge from 3-4 pm, beginning August 31. All children, kindergarten through sixth grade, are invited to participate. The choir rehearses for a full Christmas program that will take place on Sunday, December 7. There is a parent meeting to kick off the choir season on August 24 at 3 pm.

The Annual Fall Fellowship will be held on Sunday, October 26 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm!

We’ll have bounce houses, face painters, balloon artist, music, outdoor games, s'mores, apple cider & hot chocolate,  warm fires, photo booths, and more...

You will need to bring your own picnic dinner/drinks for your family, outdoor chairs/blankets and any balls or yard games you’d like to use. We’ll provide beverages - both hot and cold.  Please REGISTER yourself and and those in  your family who are coming so we can be ready for a totally awesome evening together. Also, what a GREAT time to bring those you know who are not a part of a local church...and to expose them to our folks and culture.

Men’s Fraternity: The Quest for Authentic Manhood- Two separate classes are being offered: Monday Nights 7:00-8:30pm & Friday Mornings 6:00-7:30am

A Biblical man. An Authentic man. A changed man. 

Men’s Frat is way more than a Bible Study. It provides men with an encouraging process that teaches them how to live authentic lives, as modeled by Jesus Christ and guided by the Word of God.  Our culture has told lies about what it means to be a man, and most men are exhausted from the constant pressure, loneliness, and feeling that we never measure up. EVERY MAN needs a clear and healthy vision for manhood and a community of men around him on his journey. 

We will cover topics like: The 4 faces of Manhood, Unpacking our stories, Growing out of Isolation, Making a healthy break with Mom, Healing the absent father wound, How the gospel heals our wounded hearts, The Biblical definition of manhood, A man and his wife, Fathers and children, and more. There are 14 sessions total- 7 this fall and 7 in the winter and spring. 

Each man will receive a notebook with notes and great resources. Each man will be placed in a group after the message to engage the topics taught live. The messages are about 45 minutes, and so are the small groups. Over the course of 14 weeks, you’ll get to meet and be real with other men who are just like you in both their desire and struggle to grow into a genuine man that God intended you to be. God will use this material to change you in ways you never dreamed, and he’ll use the other men to encourage your soul in the journey. 

In addition, plan now to invite other men from your friend group. Men’s Frat is for EVERY man 18 and above. Additionally, it is great material for non-Christians and will provide you with numerous opportunities to discuss Christ with them.

What crowns are discussed in the Bible? What crowns are available to believers? Why do believers receive crowns? What is the purpose of the crowns believers receive? As women... can we BE a crown? We will dive deep into these questions and find the treasures to the answers in our Fall Study, Crowned: Life | Righteousness | Eternity. Different seasons call for different ways to study the Word. We are providing two study options: 

• Companion (devotion style with scripture, questions, and summary; about 10 -15 minutes each day)
• Inductive (cross references, word studies, and creating space for Scripture to interpret Scripture—will take your personal study of the Bible to the next level; each day is 30-45 minutes)

We do not review our daily work, so regardless of study choice, you will be able to fully participate in the weekly gatherings. 

Childcare is available. 

Young adults (ages 18-28) are invited to connect with our new ministry group! We will meet weekly, 6:30-8:30pm on Tuesdays (beginning 10/14). There will be a mixture of Bible study, praise & worship, and just good ol' hangin out. Our heart is that this would be a life-changing place to connect with others in this season of life.

Wiggle Worship is a praise and worship time for toddlers and preschoolers and their grown-ups. This fun and casual opportunity to “make a joyful noise” is held on Wednesdays at 10:00 in room 209. After the worship time ends, parents are encouraged to head outside to the playground or go out to lunch to continue the fellowship time!

Children's choir meets on Sunday afternoons in the Refuge from 3-4 pm, beginning August 31. All children, kindergarten through sixth grade, are invited to participate. The choir rehearses for a full Christmas program that will take place on Sunday, December 7. There is a parent meeting to kick off the choir season on August 24 at 3 pm.

Gingerbread Bash is a hands-on Christmas event where families build gingerbread nativities and learn about the best gift the world has ever been given. This event is a great opportunity to invite another family to hear the Gospel in a fun and creative way!

The cost is $20 per family. When registering your family, pay the $20 for "adult 1" and $0 for each additional family member. If you are a visitor to our church, we’d like to pay this fee for you! Just enter the discount code "GUEST."

Time to find that favorite recipe & get to baking! Our annual cookie swap is Wednesday, December 10, at 7pm at the Blackman Campus. This is always a fun event to connect with other women in our body before the hustle & bustle of the holidays.

Bring 2 dozen of your favorite cookies on a platter to share and a to-go container. You will go home with an assortment of 2 dozen delicious cookies. Drinks will be provided.

Home for the Holidays is an annual tradition of our church. On the last Sunday of the calendar, December 28, we ask you not to come to church but to be the church gathering at home and worshipping with family and friends! Our church offices will be closed the week between Christmas and New Year's Day.
